Details Work on a 26-bed 5 East Ortho/Spine unit within a hospital setting Patient ratio of 6:1 Unit supported by unit secretary, PCTs, and navigator staff Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries Uses coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs as part of patient care equipment Documentation completed in Meditech Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Requires 4 weekend shifts per schedule Floating required on a rotation basis Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Strong orthopedic nursing background required Compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and spine surgical patients Navy scrubs required as part of dress code Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted 13-week assignment length American Traveler Job ID P-739332.
