Relationship Banker

Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies Increase retention and drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes and take personal ownership of follow-through Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to promote digital adoption Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits Document actions and set follow-up plans Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy and regulatory adherence Complete licensing and SAFE requirements as part of the temporary Relationship Banker LP transition to Relationship Banker (SAFE) Requirements 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners Proven ability to source, acquire, and deepen customer relationships through proactive outreach Knowledge of book of business management, planning-conversation documentation, and follow-through Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers Clear and confident communication, empathetic listening, and ability to build credibility and trust 1+ year of financial services experience (desired) FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents sufficient for immediate FINRA registration (desired; required active or completed within designated timeframe) Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018 State Insurance license(s) required, active or completed within a designated timeframe FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required to be attempted within a specified period in applicable states, including Texas Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards SAFE registration required at employment Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays Not eligible for visa sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing customer relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory adherence.
