Our oilfield service client is hiring a dependable Shop Hand to support pipe yard operations in Morgantown, WV. This is a physically demanding , hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing solid work and showing up ready every day.
- Applying thread compound and installing thread protectors on tubing and drill pipe
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient yard and shop environment
- Supporting additional shop tasks as directed
- Any background in physical labor - oilfield, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or similar is a plus
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work consistently throughout an 8-10 hour shift - lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions are part of the job every day
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality - this crew counts on you
- Ability to follow safety protocols and take direction well
- Reliable transportation to the Morgantown area
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass a 7-year criminal background check
- $18.00/hour
- 7a-5p with OT on short notice
- Every other Saturday
