As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will ride for extended periods, conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
