About the Role:

\n

Work as a part of a response team to resolve reported issues. Identify problems and gaps in deployed applications and infrastructure and develop preventive disruption measures. Develop and deliver tools to enhance monitoring capabilities. Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth. Identify ways to resolve common issues by developing and deploying automation to respond to common human interactions. Work with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with operability and observability in mind.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Work as a part of a response team to resolve reported issues.
\n
• Identify problems and gaps in deployed applications and infrastructure and develop preventive disruption measures.

• Develop and deliver tools to enhance monitoring capabilities.
\n
• Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth.

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in a related occupation required.
\n
• The position also requires:
\n
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms including arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, and hash tables;
\n
• 1 year of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB);
\n
• 1 year of experience with networking protocols including TCP/IP, and RESTful API design;
\n
• 1 year of experience with filesystems including Linux file systems, distributed storage systems, and cloud storage (Amazon S3);
\n
• 1 year of experience with web architecture including microservices design, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes);
\n
• 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, or BedRock).
\n
