RN - PACU

Contract Registered Nurse - PACU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with three 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. No call required.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU will work in the Preoperative Services department, specifically focusing on the EP Pre-Op Lab. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing ablations, device implants, extractions, and structural heart procedures.

• Administering patient assessments and delivering comprehensive post-anesthesia care.
• Monitoring patient vitals and managing pain relief protocols.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborating with medical staff to facilitate smooth transitions to outpatient care.
• Documenting all nursing interventions and patient progress accurately in the EMR system.

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, or operating room.
• Preferred candidates will have greater than one year of EP RN experience.
