Expected Schedule

• This is a full-time position
• Some holidays will be required
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Compensation

The pay range is $25-$34/hour , depending on experience and licensure.

Your Role

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in our Ophthalmology department, you will collaborate closely with specialists and clinicians from various departments to provide accurate, high-quality care. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately drawing up, calculating, and administering medications while ensuring patient safety
• Utilizing and maintaining all monitoring equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
• Performing daily and weekly maintenance on anesthesia and imaging equipment
• Coordinating daily procedures across all departments
• Upholding standards related to safety, infection control, and OSHA protocols
• Acting as a patient advocate by maintaining precise treatment and anesthesia records

Who We Are Looking For

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) in good standing or an experienced assistant
• Ability to lift 35-45 lbs and assist with the mobility of larger patients
• Strong organizational, teamwork, and time-management skills
• A positive attitude and a commitment to enhancing the lives of pets
