Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: BCLS and NIH required, ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry experience and reading rhythms - Cardiac medications and drips management (no titration) Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in cardiac telemetry. The nurse will work primarily night shifts. Patient ratios are generally 5-6 patients per nurse. The role involves caring for cardiac patients and those undergoing telemetry monitoring. Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. The nurse will manage various procedures including care related to chest tubes and monitors. Initial training will include a 40-hour orientation. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; however, flu vaccination is mandatory with medical or religious exemptions. The contract will require 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. The nurse will float within the service line as needed. All required skills will be evaluated prior to hire.
