Salary Range: $62,000 – $76,000 / year (Based on experience)

We are looking for a hardworking, self-starting Maintenance Automation Technician to join our 1st-shift team. In this role, you will get the best of both worlds: maintaining core injection molding machinery while optimizing advanced automation systems, including 6-axis free-standing Wittmann robots and integrated vision systems.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Molding & Automation Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and advanced automation systems (servos, sensors, 6-axis Wittmann robots, and control components).
- Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical machine failures using diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, and operations manuals.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute the facility’s PM program to maximize machine uptime. Keep flawless logs of equipment usage, parts replacement, and work orders.
- Production Collaboration: Partner closely with the production staff to analyze inconsistent machine performance, conduct testing, and continuously optimize our automation capabilities.
- Safety & Organization: Operate all tools and equipment in strict accordance with safety rules, while maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized work environment.
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance (specifically within an injection molding or high-automation environment).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Technical Skills: A rock-solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Core Competencies: Familiarity with robots (Wittmann preferred), molding machinery, automation components, and general facility maintenance.
- Mindset: A self-starter attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to continuously learn and master new automation technologies.
