Job Description Job Description Operations Project Manager – Facilities & Engineering New York, NY $115,000–$125,000 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | On-Call as Needed A leading facilities services organization is seeking an Operations Project Manager to oversee engineering and janitorial operations across a large higher education campus in NYC. This role will manage multiple buildings and oversee engineering leadership, supervisors, and foremen while ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily facilities, engineering, and janitorial operations Manage work orders, inspections, staffing, and service delivery Serve as the primary contact for campus leadership and stakeholders Track KPIs, reporting, and operational performance Lead, coach, and develop site teams Ensure vendor compliance, safety standards, and quality control Qualifications ~5+ years of facilities, engineering, or janitorial operations leadership experience ~ Higher education/campus environment experience preferred ~ Union environment experience preferred ~ Strong client management, leadership, and communication skills ~ Experience with KPI-driven operations and facility management systems Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
