Role Description The Litigation Paralegal is a full-time, on-site role based in Towson, MD. This position supports attorneys in personal injury and related litigation matters from intake through trial. Must have experience drafting and organizing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting obtaining, reviewing and summarizing medical records, accident reports, and other case-related documents, and managing case files and calendars. The role also involves coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, preparing materials for hearings, depositions, and trials, and maintaining accurate documentation for each case. The paralegal works closely with attorneys to ensure timely filings, thorough case preparation, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced litigation environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in legal document preparation, including drafting and formatting pleadings and motions. Candidates should possess strong document review skills to analyze case files, medical records, and evidentiary materials. Candidates should possess legal research skills to locate and interpret statutes, case law, and court rules. Candidates should possess experience managing litigation tasks such as organizing case files, maintaining calendars, and preparing trial and hearing binders. Relevant qualifications include prior litigation or personal injury paralegal experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office. An ABA-approved paralegal certificate or associate/bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field is preferred.
