Housekeeper Opportunity

A private family in Larchmont, NY is seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented housekeeper to support the upkeep and daily operations of their 6,000-square-foot home. The ideal candidate is energetic, takes initiative, and takes pride in maintaining a well-organized and welcoming household. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who can work independently, anticipate needs, and provide exceptional household support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed housekeeping and maintain the cleanliness of the residence
• Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing
• Maintain organization throughout the home and ensure household spaces are tidy and functional
• Run local household errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, and other tasks
• Monitor household needs and proactively communicate maintenance or supply requirements
• Coordinate and oversee household vendors, service providers, and contractors as needed
• Obtain vendor quotes, schedule appointments, and relay information to the family when requested
• Assist with preparing the home for visiting family members and guests

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high housekeeping standards
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for local errands
• Experience coordinating vendors and household projects is a plus

Compensation

• $40 per hour, Flexible schedule of 30 - 40 hours per week, depending on candidate availability
