Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location: Coos Bay, OR
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 72 Hours Per Pay Period

Compensation

• $45.00 – $71.00/hour (Based on years of experience – Union Position)
• Relocation Assistance Available

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past five years required
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, CEN, and SAFE certification preferred (or obtainable after hire)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Rapidly assess, triage, stabilize, and monitor patients in emergency and trauma situations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
