Research Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform chemical handling procedures and manage research material orders in accordance with departmental timelines. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including liquid handling systems and analytical balances. Maintain and update records of research materials across multiple databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality standards. Support intake and validation processes to confirm that all materials meet established specifications. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and promptly report deviations or anomalies to relevant stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and review of technical reports, intake logs, and related documentation. Analyze and organize data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, and present key findings through PowerPoint or similar platforms. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a laboratory or research setting. Hands‑on experience operating laboratory instruments, including analytical balances and automated liquid handling systems (Tecan or Biomek experience preferred). Familiarity with compound management or inventory software systems (knowledge of Titian’s Mosaic platform is a plus). Strong proficiency in data management and documentation across multiple databases. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data organization and presentation. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a continuous learning mindset.
