Territory Manager - Swine

Merck Animal Health seeks a Territory Manager for swine to drive sales across a multi-state region spanning Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Missouri. The role involves building customer relationships, developing account strategies, and promoting Animal Health products with 75% travel required within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for assigned customers, understanding practice structure and identifying business opportunities
- Develop customer and territory-specific account plans to drive sales growth of Animal Health products
- Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines
- Collaborate across species teams and with National Account Managers to enhance product portfolio knowledge
- Identify and recommend company programs and services to address customer needs and provide training
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 12 years Animal Health sales experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years experience
- Swine industry sales experience required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad
- Ability to travel overnight with occasional weekend activity
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products preferred
