We're seeking a Director of Safety to lead construction safety programs across active worksites, ensuring compliance, reducing incidents, and fostering a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

- Lead all safety programs across active construction worksites
- Develop, enforce, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures
- Create and review Activity Hazard Analyses, site-specific safety plans, and lift plans
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety audits
- Lead safety training programs for field and office personnel
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and manage corrective action plans
- Oversee workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs
- Serve as primary contact for OSHA inspections and regulatory audits
- Collaborate with operations and project leadership on safety integration
- Manage relationships with insurance partners and safety consultants

Requirements

Must-Haves

- 7-10+ years of progressive safety leadership in construction environments
- Deep working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and DOT standards
- Experience developing safety policies, AHAs, and site-specific safety plans
- Proven track record conducting inspections and incident investigations
- Strong communication, training, and organizational skills
- OSHA 30 certification required

Nice-to-Haves

- CSP, CHST, or ASP certification
- Experience in mechanical or commercial HVAC construction
- Background managing workers' compensation programs
- Multi-site safety management experience
