Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Join Our Team at Creekside Animal Hospital
Part or full time. Creekside Animal Hospital is looking for a kind-hearted, motivatedLicensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our growing team. Nestled in the heart ofMacomb, Michigan, Creekside Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care. We value strong client relationships, teamwork, and ongoing learning.As an LVT at Creekside, youll be a vital part of our medical team, helping deliver outstanding care from routine wellness visits to advanced procedures. Youll utilize your technical skills while also serving as a trusted resource for pet owners.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures
- Perform dental cleanings and obtain digital X-rays
- Collect and prepare lab samples
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Educate clients on care plans and at-home support
- Keep thorough and accurate medical records
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment
Qualifications
- A Michigan-licensed Veterinary Technician or highly experienced
- A strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships
- A team-oriented professional who thrives on collaboration
- Someone passionate about patient care and continuous improvement
