Job Title: Senior Agile Coach

Location: BROADWAY, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Coach, mentor, and guide product teams, leaders, and stakeholders in Agile principles, practices, and ways of working.
• Support Agile adoption and enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives across MTA-IT.
• Coach teams in Agile frameworks and methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Facilitate Agile training sessions, workshops, ceremonies, and collaborative working sessions.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Help teams improve delivery practices, productivity, quality, and operational excellence.
• Align Agile delivery outcomes with business objectives and organizational priorities.
• Implement Agile best practices, processes, tools, and techniques to improve team and organizational performance.
• Leverage Agile metrics and performance data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback, retrospectives, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
• Support organizational change management and cultural transformation at scale.
• Contribute to organizational design initiatives that enable Agile ways of working.
• Influence teams and stakeholders without direct managerial authority.
• Identify organizational impediments and help teams and leaders develop effective solutions.
• Support the development of Agile maturity across the enterprise.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to establish sustainable Agile practices aligned with the broader MTA-IT strategy.
• Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and continuous learning.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated software development experience.
• Extensive experience in Agile coaching.
• Proven experience coaching Agile product transformations within large, complex environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leading enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in change management, organizational design, and driving cultural transformation at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, frameworks, and transformation practices.
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience facilitating Agile training sessions, workshops, and team coaching engagements.
• Strong ability to use Agile metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, mentoring, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to influence teams, leaders, and stakeholders without direct managerial authority.

• Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent Agile coaching credentials.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformation programs.
• Experience working with complex, cross-functional product and technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of organizational change and Agile maturity models.
