Job Title: Stand-Up/ Sit-down Forklift Operator (Temp-to-Hire)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Location : Kings Mountain, NC
Pay: Starting at $17.48 per hour

Shift 6:00 AM– 6:30 PM

Schedule: Week 1: Thursday – Sunday ; Week 2: Friday – Sunday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join a growing warehouse team in Kings Mountain, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent rotating schedule and the potential for long-term employment. The ideal candidate has previous stand-up forklift experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Load, unload, stage, and move raw materials and finished products
• Supply production lines with materials to support daily operations
• Perform inventory movements and accurately store products in designated warehouse locations
• Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Previous sit-down or stand-up forklift experience is required
• Ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or distribution experience
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Inventory control or material handling experience
