Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a  Mortgage Loan Closer II  for a client in the finance industry in  North Orange County .

Schedule: Hybrid (2 remote days/week), Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Pay: $29-$35/hour DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures (CDs) and mortgage closing packages.
• Coordinate loan closings with escrow, title, attorneys, and other third parties.
• Review closing conditions and executed loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Fund mortgage loans, issue wires, reconcile general ledgers, and book loans into servicing.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting requirements, TRID, RESPA, and other federal/state mortgage regulations.
• Manage a high-volume pipeline while meeting deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate loan records in the Loan Origination System (LOS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Mortgage loan closing/funding experience required.
• Experience with out-of-state lending.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage lending, title/escrow practices, and mortgage regulations (TRID, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, SAFE Act, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Mortgage Cadence or similar LOS, Episys, FICS, and Microsoft Office preferred.
