Position Overview

Onsite - Aventura, FL (5x per week)

We are seeking a hands-on, self-sufficient IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support at our Miami facility.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues directly in the field rather than working exclusively in a traditional help desk environment.

The role consists of approximately 80% desktop and onsite IT support and 20% networking responsibilities .

As the primary onsite IT resource, you will be responsible for independently addressing technical issues, supporting daily operations, and ensuring employees have the technology and equipment needed to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Desktop & End-User Support

• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
\n
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and general software issues.
\n
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, connectivity problems, and peripheral issues.
\n
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup, equipment deployment, and account provisioning.
\n
• Perform computer imaging, installations, upgrades, and hardware replacements.
\n
• Support warehouse-related technology, including barcode scanners, handheld devices, and label printers.
\n

Networking & Infrastructure

\n
• Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity issues.
\n
• Assist with switches, access points, network cabling, and patch panels.
\n
• Support physical network installations and troubleshooting throughout the facility.
\n
• Coordinate with remote IT teams and external vendors when necessary.
\n

IT Operations

\n
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for technical issues.
\n
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and equipment documentation.
\n
• Identify recurring technical problems and recommend solutions.
\n
• Prioritize and resolve issues independently with minimal supervision.
\n
• Ensure IT equipment and systems remain operational in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 3+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Field Service, or a similar technical role preferred.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
\n
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
\n
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, switches, Wi-Fi, and cabling.
\n
• Experience with Active Directory, device deployment, and workstation imaging preferred.
\n
• Comfortable providing physical, onsite IT support rather than exclusively remote troubleshooting.
\n
• Ability to work independently, prioritize requests, and take ownership of technical issues.
\n
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
\n

Preferred Experience

\n
• Previous IT support experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
\n
• Experience supporting barcode scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse technology.
\n
• Background working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or providing field IT support.
\n
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, or similar networking platforms.
\n
• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required .
\n
