Dietitian – Outpatient (Travel Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide outpatient dietitian services during day shift hours
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records system
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Participate in required orientation and adhere to scheduling expectations, including select summer holidays

Required Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Active Iowa state dietitian license required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
• Valid Driver's License and proof of taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient clinical setting
• First-time travel dietitians are welcome to apply
