Senior Project Controller

Due to growth, Dematic Corp is growing its Project Controlling organization and seeking multiple Finance Project Controllers across our U.S. locations (Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA; Wauwatosa, WI; Dallas, TX).Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role serves as a financial co-pilot to Project Execution teams, owning the financial performance of a project portfolio. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will do in This Role:Own and manage EACs (Estimate at Completion), ensuring all deviations are clearly quantified with root-cause supportPartner closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to drive project performance and financial outcomesProactively identify, quantify, and mitigate risks impacting project financialsLead change order management to protect and enhance project profitabilityManage cash flow and working capital across project portfolioDeliver monthly financial performance reviews to senior leadership (VP/Director level)Lead weekly pacing discussions to ensure forecast commitments are achievedDevelop and improve management reporting and dashboardsPerform ad hoc analysis to continuously improve project controlling efficiencyWhat We Are Looking For:8+ years proven experience in project-based business or manufacturing financeBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferedProven track record to own results and influence outcomes in a cross-functional environmentStrong business partnering approach with the confidence to challenge and inspire changeHighly analytical with strong critical thinking and interpersonal skillsGenuine curiosity about understanding the business, not just the numbersExperience with SAP (or equivalent ERP), Excel, and PowerPoint#LI-RT1SummaryLocation: Grand Rapids, MI, United States; Dallas, TX, United States; Wauwatosa, WI, United States; Atlanta, GA, United StatesType: Full time
