Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Day Shift, 36 hours/week with potential overtime

End Date/Duration: Ongoing full-time opportunity

Hours/Week: 36 hours (with available OT)

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from KS, NBRC credential, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP

Experience: Minimum 6 months in clinical critical care

Hourly Pay Range: $28.57 – $37.84 + shift differential (evening, night, weekend)

Shift Differentials:

• Evening (3 PM–11 PM): $2.30/hour
• Night (11 PM–7 AM): $3.75/hour
• Weekend (7 PM Friday–7 AM Monday): $3.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification
• Work independently in critical care areas after completion of clinical check-offs
• Administer all modes of respiratory therapy across various hospital units
• Assess patient needs and suggest appropriate therapy per established protocols
• Mentor students and new staff members
• Contribute to patient care plans, especially in critical settings
• Support the hospital's commitment to quality care and safety

What You Need

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• Kansas Respiratory Therapist (RT) license and NBRC CRT/RRT credential
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Basic computer skills
• Minimum 6 months of critical care experience

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
• Additional respiratory therapy education or work experience
• Experience in clinical instruction of students
