Staff Accountant

The position resides in Brickell and requires a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Perform and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances as needed
- Assist with the month-end close processes while providing accounting assistance for ongoing projects and other ad hoc initiatives throughout the month
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and investigate variances.
- Support internal and external audit requests by gathering, organizing, and providing required supporting documentation
- Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. xhyhwjd
