Wilmington College
Serves as an intern for Tennis team. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Senior Director of Athletics.
Reports to: Head Tennis Coach/Senior Director of Athletics Duties and Responsibilities:- Assists with Coaching
- Actively recruits new students from a specific assigned area.
- Maintains all requested charts, statistics, film breakdown, practice planning, etc.
- Works with Athletic Training staff concerning medical room operations, health services, exams, referrals, etc.
- Assists head coach in overseeing the study table if applicable
- Maintains awareness of and follows all NCAA and college rules.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Related Bachelor's degree, plus any related coaching experience or equivalent. Evidence of excellent coaching skills and demonstrated organizational ability to recruit student-athletes and implement a competitive football program.
Ability to quickly build rapport and to communicate effectively with a diverse population
