Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
FTE: 1.0 Salary: $27.00- 29.00/hour
Job Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a member of Coventry's district-wide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Team. RBT's support students and staff under the supervision of a district Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide a consistent model of trauma-informed ABA practices. Model professionalism and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the BACB. Provide constructive feedback to 1:1 staff supporting individualized student programs. Work with individual students to reinforce basic skills and check their use of instructional materials under the supervision of the teacher/BCBA. Model and monitor data collection procedures with a focus on consistency and fidelity. Collaborate with the teacher/BCBA to complete curriculum-based assessments that guide individualized programming. Support generalization and maintenance of skills across school environments. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student needs. Safely supervise students in both instructional and assessment activities in and out of the classroom. Assist the teacher/BCBA in the development and construction of materials to be used as instructional and reinforcement activities.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Registered as a Behavior Technician with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Completion of 40 hour RBT Training. BCBA verified competency checklist. Application through BACB account. Take and pass the RBT exam through Pearson Vue.
