Job Type Full‑time Description We’re building ‘the’ Teaching Hospital for pediatric therapy – a category of one by driving excellence in outcomes, developing clinicians, building payer trust, and embedding systems across what we do. Join our team at Bierman Autism Centers as a Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist and provide life‑changing ABA therapy to children aged 2‑12 with autism or other developmental and language delays. Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans. Collect and record data; write therapy notes for each session. Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding progress (with BCBA guidance). Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials. Maintain functional and technical knowledge by attending required trainings. Follow the guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already certified. Foster a positive working environment with a collaborative team. Basic & Essential Functions Physically capable of lifting and carrying clients up to 30 pounds and performing required movements. Maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, etc.) for extended periods. Assist with basic client needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing. Operate computers and electronic devices for data collection and documentation. Maintain therapy space, including assembly, cleaning, and organization of toys and furniture. Administer medication to clients as directed. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, detail orientation, flexibility, and adaptability. Act with integrity and professionalism. Preferred Experience Experience working with children ages 2‑12 in a classroom, day care, 1:1 setting, or instructional childcare setting. Experience implementing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis or related educational or allied health background. Benefits and Compensation Pay range: $18.50 – $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
