Warehouse Supervisor

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM until work is complete; mandatory OT Duration: 5 months with Contract-to-Hire Pay: Up to $32.82/hr Position Summary Lead transportation, logistics, warehouse, and operational programs, ensuring timely shipment execution, cold-chain integrity, regulatory compliance, service quality, and team performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily transportation, logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations. Manage domestic/international shipments, including Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, export documentation, bookings, and shipment tracking. Ensure cold-chain management, product integrity, chain of custody, and regulatory compliance. Monitor on-hold shipments, flight schedules, delivery approvals, and operational issues. Lead, coach, train, and develop supervisors and associates; support hiring and performance management. Manage client/stakeholder relationships and ensure service and contractual requirements are met. Develop SOPs, workflows, training programs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze operational data, identify trends/risks, and drive corrective actions and process improvements. Support budgeting, billing, cost management, and operational planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, distribution, warehouse, or related experience. 3+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of transportation operations, logistics processes, and supply chain principles. Experience with tracking systems, operational reporting, and data analysis. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Cold-chain / temperature-controlled logistics experience. Healthcare, pharmaceutical, clinical, or life sciences experience. Air import/export and domestic/international shipping experience. Knowledge of Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, export documentation, and carrier bookings. CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, or similar certification.
