Line Cook

About the Role We are seeking a dynamic cook to join our culinary team. The candidate will support production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining. Responsibilities Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry). Use knives and kitchen equipment to prepare ingredients such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat. Recreate recipes, ensuring consistency in all food preparation. Minimize food waste through cross‑utilization of ingredients. Create and maintain workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare ingredients and maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment. Ensure proper storage of all food and other items. Be responsible for the quality of ingredients used. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment. Active food handler’s certification or the ability to obtain one. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts. Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds. Minimum age 21 years. Energetic personality and desire to exceed expectations.
