Restoration Project Manager

Axiom Staffing is seeking Project Managers for a local restoration company. This is a direct hire opportunity. Purpose of the Job The Project Manager will work under the Regional Manager, providing day‑to‑day management, supervision, and leadership for efficient and profitable completion of projects that meet high quality standards. Essential Primary Functions Responsible for the productivity, mentorship, and coaching of construction crews. Serves as a representative of Property Services displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with clients and the public. Ability to drive from customer site to customer site with a valid driver’s license. Perform minor and incidental structural repairs to include windows and doors. Review and approve completed timesheets according to standard operating procedures, and email those timesheets to the appropriate person daily. Prepare daily status reports; including signing off on completed job tickets, potential problems, next steps, for all jobs assigned. Ensure quality of work from team members. Conduct initial quality control inspections, review estimates, and scopes of work for all properties. Manage general contractors’ completion of punch lists. Supervise general contractors during the construction process, including labor, materials, workmanship, and quality control. Test all systems and functions of the home to guarantee proper performance. Provide accurate quantities of required materials and labor for all improvements. Skills and Equipment Knowledge Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with general and/or trade contractors to clarify scopes. Ability to multitask. Meticulous attention to detail. Aptitude with computers, internet, MS Office, Excel. Extremely comfortable working in a technology‑driven environment. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Experience in inspections and general contracting is preferred. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions. Ability to utilize common hand tools, including taking measurements on the job site. Computer literate. Must be okay with travel. Education and/or Experience Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred 8 years of relevant construction experience. Preferred 8 years of supervisory work experience in a production‑oriented work environment.
