What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics
• Manage all age groups with conditions including respiratory distress, diabetics, GI bleeds, stroke, cardiac issues, trauma, and mental health concerns
• Perform IV starts, continuous patient monitoring, and identify severity to anticipate care needs
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Assist with patient assessments and support a team of charge nurses, RTs, phlebotomists, and hospitalists
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Be a part of a traveler-friendly unit with a culture of teamwork and support

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure in Louisiana
• 2+ years of recent ER experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and CPI or MOAB certifications
• Comfortable passing an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
• Strong multitasking, assessment, and patient priority skills
