Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education licensure/certification as required
- Prior experience in special education or as an intervention specialist is highly preferred
- Proficiency in implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and school-based teams
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on IEPs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs to reflect student progress and needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related services
- Monitor student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and other team members regarding student development
- Create an inclusive environment where all learners feel valued
