Job Title: House Manager & Family Assistant (with Meal Prep Support) Location: Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Employment Type: Part-time (12–15 hours/week, guaranteed 12 hours) Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible mid-morning to mid-afternoon (between 9AM-4 PM), + 2x monthly date night coverage Compensation: $28–32/hour Start Date: ASAP Requirements Can maintain a smoke-free environment Comfortable with dogs Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided) CPR certification or willingness to obtain General vaccinations About Our Family We’re a lively, busy family juggling work, school, and the chaos of life with two kids, two dogs, and an ever-growing to-do list. We need someone who can take charge of the household, manage the daily tasks—laundry, organizing, grocery shopping, errands, and meal prep—so we can focus on what really matters: spending quality time as a family. Key Responsibilities Household Organization & Maintenance Maintain and enhance household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys) Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure hope is prepped for cleaning services (2x monthly) Awareness household schedules and calendars with Skylight Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.) Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas Maintain indoor plants Laundry & Linen Care Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels) Iron, steam, and prepare outfits as needed Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentials Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies Inventory Management & Errands Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies Create and manage running household supply lists Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries Meal Planning & Preparation Plan and prep healthy, kid-friendly meals/snacks for whole family Batch‑cook or prep weekly meals (3x weekly) Shop for groceries and meal‑related items Clean kitchen post‑prep and manage kitchen tidiness Vehicle Management Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized Vendor & Property Oversight Manage routine upkeep as needed Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance as needed Deep Cleaning & Special Projects Organize special projects: closet organization, toy storage, seasonal decorations, gear rotation Administrative & Personal Assistant Support Awareness of family calendars and reminders Handle basic budgeting and receipt tracking for expenses incurred as house manager Assist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest prep Family Support & Child Assistance Occasional light supervision, playtime, or back‑up childcare Twice-monthly date nights Prep backpacks, clothing, or snacks for school Help with child‑related laundry or errands How to Apply To apply, please submit the following: A brief introductory letter explaining why you’d be a great fit for this position An updated resume Three professional references with contact information This role requires a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
