Branch Sales ManagerMaster Pumps & Power, a SunSource company, has been an industry leader for over 45 years. As one of the largest pump distributors in North America, we stock over 8000 pumps and offer custom design, fabrication, and on-site services. We proudly serve customers in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, West Virginia, Ohio, Wyoming, and Montana.Master Pumps and Power is looking for a Branch Sales Manager that can provide support to field sales, customers, and internal departments in the areas of product and application knowledge, pump sizing and selection, proposal generation, and order processing/management. Specifically, activities include, but are not limited to, review of customer specifications, pump sizing and selection, proposal preparation, providing technical support to customers, and interacting with customer service and operations to support sales orders.Responsibilities:Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitabilityMeet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staffEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent serviceQuote prices and process customer ordersComplete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresManage shop service department for customer repairs, fabrication, pump unit buildsReport on buying trends, customer needs, and profitsPropose innovative ideas to increase market shareConduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career pathsDeal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc)Be a shining example of well behavior and high performanceRequirements:Proven successful experience as a store managerExperience in Industrial Sales/Rotating EquipmentPowerful leading skills and business orientationOutstanding customer service and management skillsMust be SALES drivenStrong organizational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsBS degree in Business Administration or Industrial DistributionLanguage Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or co-workers of the organizationMathematical Skills:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumeAbility to utilize pump sizing softwareReasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsA working knowledge of positive displacement and centrifugal pumpsAbility to troubleshoot technical issues over the phoneComputing Skills:Ability to effectively utilize word processing software and spreadsheets and to navigate and use other custom applications software in an MS Windows environmentCRM software and accounting systemsCompensation:Excellent Salary and Commission packageBenefits package available includes:Medical, dental, vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysProfit Sharing PlanProduct support, sales support, and trainingEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
