We provide an array of exceptional legal services across multiple practice areas with the quality expected of big law, but absent the big law economics.Genova Burns LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Labor Attorney with 4 - 9 years of experience to join our Labor Law Practice Group.Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong advocate, and trusted advisor who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.Responsibilities:Represent management in labor relations matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings.Advise employers on labor law compliance and workforce management strategies.Handle matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC), and other administrative agencies.Provide counsel on union organizing campaigns, contract administration, labor disputes, and workplace investigations.Draft and review collective bargaining agreements, labor-related policies, and legal memoranda.Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and participate in hearings, arbitrations, and negotiations.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop practical business-oriented solutions.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing to practice law in New Jersey; New York admission a plus.4-9 years of labor law experience, preferably representing management.Experience handling collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, and administrative proceedings.Litigation experience a plus.Strong writing, research, negotiation and advocacy skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted client relations.Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working effectively within a team environment.
