EstimatorEstimatorWorking Location: SalfordOffice Location: Hybrid WorkingSalary: 50,000 - 60,000Package: 5,000 Car AllowanceAn established construction and interior fit out business specialising in CAT A and CAT B fit out and refurb projects is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.The business delivers projects for a range of commercial clients, with the majority of their work across the Northwest and West Midlands. Projects range from 250k to 10m, with an average project value of around 2m-3m.This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator at Intermediate to Senior level who enjoys taking ownership of the tender process and pricing projects from initial enquiry through to submission. The role offers a varied workload across office fit outs and other commercial spaces, including industrial units, with the opportunity to work closely with clients, subcontractors and the delivery team.The business has a practical and collaborative approach, giving experienced Estimators the responsibility and flexibility to manage their own tenders while working within established systems and processes.The RoleAs an Estimator, you will take responsibility for pricing multiple tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.Responsibilities will include:Reviewing tender enquiries, drawings and specificationsPreparing detailed estimates for CAT A and CAT B fit out and refurb projectsCarrying out take offs and measurements from drawings and specificationsBuilding up labour, material and subcontractor costsObtaining, reviewing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsPreparing competitive tenders and submitting bids within required deadlinesIdentifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve project valueLiaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the tender processAttending tender meetings and site visits as requiredMaintaining accurate estimating and tender recordsWorking closely with the delivery team to ensure a smooth handover following successful tendersSupporting the commercial team with pricing and cost information where requiredRequirementsProven experience as an Estimator within construction or interior fit outStrong CAT A and CAT B fit out and refurb experienceExperience pricing commercial projects from 250k to 10mIntermediate to Senior level experience with the ability to manage tenders independentlyStrong commercial awareness and understanding of construction costsConfident dealing with clients, subcontractors and suppliers Location: Manchester | Salary: 45000 - 60000 per year | Job type: Permanent | Posted: 18/08/2026
