Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students as a dedicated school psychology professional for the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract opportunity, located near Huntsville, Alabama, spans from late July through May, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35-40 hours. You’ll work within a collaborative educational environment, making a significant impact by providing psychological services to a diverse student population.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Hold an active School Psychologist or School Psychometrist license in Alabama
- Experience within school settings is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students across K-12th grade
- Prepare and document clear, comprehensive psychological reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support tailored student plans
- Collaborate with school teams to develop strategies for student success
- Engage in ongoing professional dialogue for continued enhancement of school psychology services
