Materials Coordinator

Our client, a leading manufacturing and materials operations organization, is seeking a Materials Coordinator to join their team. As a Materials Coordinator, you will be part of the Stationary division supporting the shop floor and materials flow needs. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to stay organized while working with inventory and production materials. Job Title: Materials Coordinator Location: Novi, MI Pay Range: $21-24/hr Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm What's the Job? Receive incoming goods and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage. Transfer materials into secondary storage locations using appropriate equipment. Maintain inventory control and ensure stock accuracy through cycle counts and audits. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility. Pick materials for production, verify counts, and resolve discrepancies or inventory issues promptly. What's Needed? Experience with general warehousing and shop floor control processes. Proficiency in performing inventory transactions and understanding material flow. Skilled in using material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred). Basic understanding or experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and transaction logging. What's in it for me?
