Financial Analyst - Hybrid

Our client, a growing and innovative organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its collaborative Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional looking to broaden their FP& A experience while partnering with leaders across the business to support strategic decision-making.

This hybrid position requires working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the Boston office.

What You'll Do

As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the organization's financial planning and business performance by:

Building financial models and performing scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Preparing financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis for leadership.
Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends that drive business performance.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and provide financial insights.
Supporting process improvements and helping automate financial reporting.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of experience in a Corporate Financial Analyst or FP& A role.
Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
Working knowledge of GAAP, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue recognition.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, Conditional Formatting, and Charts.
Experience working with ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Great Plains (GP), NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
Experience within education, publishing, or another corporate environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to business leaders.
