Location remote,Edmond, OK, 73003,United States Job Category Equipment Sales Employee Type Full-Time Travel 70% Manage Others Yes BigIron is hiring a full-time Sales Manager to lead a team of Equipment Sales Representatives across Western and Central Oklahoma, including surrounding ag communities. This is a field-based sales leadership role. You will manage a team of 4 sales representatives, with the opportunity to grow the team over time. Your focus is driving revenue, developing your team, and expanding market coverage. You will spend time in the field with your team, coaching reps during customer visits, helping close deals, and building relationships with key customers. What your day will look like: Coach and manage a team of 4 sales representatives Ride along with reps in the field to improve performance and close business Recruit, interview, and onboard new sales representatives as the territory grows Set performance expectations and hold reps accountable to goals Review pipeline, activity, and results with each team member Support reps in securing listings and managing large or complex sales Build relationships with key customers, partners, and industry contacts Identify opportunities to grow territory coverage and revenue How you will work: Field-based leadership role with regular travel across your territory Direct management of both employees and independent sales representatives Hands-on coaching, ride-alongs, and in-person team development Work from a home office when not in the field Pay and role details: Full-time employee Base salary: $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and market knowledge On-target earnings: $130,000 to $180,000+ based on team performance Bonus based on team revenue and performance metrics Requirements 5+ years of sales experience 2+ years of experience leading or coaching a sales team Proven ability to drive revenue and develop sales talent Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage performance and hold a team accountable Comfortable working in a performance-based role tied to team results Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly Preferred experience: Background in agriculture, equipment, or rural markets Experience managing territory-based or outside sales teams Experience working with independent contractors Existing relationships within the Western and Central Oklahoma ag community Summary BigIron provides online auction services for farm equipment and real estate. Sales Managers lead local teams that help customers sell assets through a national buyer network. You will lead a defined territory in Western and Central Oklahoma with the responsibility to grow revenue, build a strong team, and expand market presence.
