French to English OPI/VRI Remote Interpreters (US Based) (Remote) at Kalamcx

We are hiring French‑English Over‑the‑Phone Interpreters (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) at Future Group Translation and Localization Services. Responsibilities Answer calls in a professional manner, following the Interpreter’s code of conduct. Take notes during a call as needed. Use industry‑specific terminology, especially in healthcare and medical contexts. Render all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting content. Provide the highest level of customer service during interpreting. Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients and speakers by delivering accurate interpretation. Apply standard practices and attend internal professional training. Pursue new professional certifications. Communicate and report to your team leader. Comply with dress‑code requirements for video remote interpreting. Qualifications Native French speaker with fluent English proficiency. Minimum 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable company. Good knowledge of medical terminology. Awareness of legal terminology is a plus. International certifications in healthcare (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are a plus. High school diploma in your native language. High emotional intelligence and tolerance for different cultures. Strong communication, listening, note‑taking, and memory retention skills. Technical Requirements Dedicated high‑speed private internet connection: minimum download 20Mbps, upload 10Mbps. Wired Ethernet connection (Wi‑Fi not allowed). Windows10 operating system. Computer with dual‑core 2GHz processor (Intel Corei5 or superior). Minimum 8GB RAM. Single device (computer or laptop) with no external devices. No external monitors or connectors unless applicable. Operating system set to “High Performance” mode.
