Be the friendly face that starts every visit on the right note! We’re looking for a welcoming, dependable Front Desk Receptionist who enjoys helping people, keeping communication flowing, and creating a positive first impression.

LOCATION

McKinney, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $20.00 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

• Part-Time Temporary

• Assignment: October 5–November 16, 2026

ROLE IMPACT

Provide welcoming, professional front desk support in a busy municipal office environment. This role serves as a first point of contact for citizens and visitors, ensuring calls and inquiries are directed accurately while supporting a positive, efficient front desk experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet citizens and visitors warmly and professionally.

• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.

• Use Webex to locate employee contact information and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.

• Communicate clearly with citizens, visitors, employees, and the front desk team.

• Maintain dependable attendance throughout the temporary assignment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous front desk or receptionist experience.

• Experience answering and routing calls using a multi-line phone system.

• Basic computer skills and clear verbal communication skills.
