Position Scope: The Corporate Director of Clinical and Compliance provides enterprise-wide leadership and oversight for clinical operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and quality assurance across all departments within the senior living organization. This role ensures that all service lines operate in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while driving operational excellence, resident safety, and quality outcomes.
The Corporate Director builds scalable systems, policies, audit processes, and training programs that promote resident safety, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and risk mitigation across all communities.

RESPONSIBILTIES
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
· Provide strategic clinical leadership and standardize care delivery models.
· Monitor clinical outcomes including falls, infections, and hospitalizations.
· Support care delivery optimization and partner with operations leadership.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
· Oversee compliance with state licensure, HIPAA, resident rights, and safety regulations.
· Lead investigations, corrective actions, and risk mitigation strategies.
· Ensure incident reporting systems are standardized and effective across all departments.
Audit & Survey Oversight
· Lead enterprise-wide audit programs and conduct mock surveys across departments.
· Ensure readiness for surveys, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
· Standardize audit scoring tools and track compliance trends.
Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI)
· Implement company-wide QAPI initiatives and KPIs.
· Analyze performance data and drive corrective action plans.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Policies, Procedures & Program Development
· Develop and maintain company-wide policies across clinical and non-clinical areas.
· Ensure policy alignment with HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory standards.
· Support policy integration during acquisitions and growth.
Training & Education
· Develop compliance training programs across all departments.
· Provide education on survey readiness, documentation, and regulatory standards.
· Coach leadership teams on accountability for compliance outcomes.
Requirements:Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, with a Master’s preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years in clinical leadership in senior living or long-term care. Multi-site experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and teams across multiple locations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and senior living compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Strong risk assessment and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes organization-wide.
Licenses & Certifications (Preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certifications such as CHC, CDON, or Infection Prevention
Travel Requirements
- Overnight travel to communities, up to 20%
- Must have a valid driver's license
Education & Experience

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Walk/Stand/Sitting – must be able to continuously perform duties that incorporate walking, standing, or sitting.
- Environment Condition – must be able to perform work both inside and outside.
- Lift - constantly 0 – 10 pounds, frequently 11 – 50 pounds, occasionally 51 – 100 pounds.
- Carry - constantly 0 – 10 pounds, frequently 11 – 50 pounds, occasionally 51 – 100 pounds.
- Push - constantly 0 – 10 pounds, frequently 11 – 50 pounds, occasionally 51 – 100 pounds.
- Climb – must be able to climb stairs on a frequent basis, with the opportunity to utilize the elevator as an alternate resource if available.
- Bend – must be able to bend at the waist, knees, hips and spine on a frequent basis, may require frequently manipulating weights of 25 pounds or more.
- Twist or rotate – must be able to twist or rotate occasionally at the trunk, hips, knees, and neck, manipulating weights of 25 pounds or more.
- Reach - may occasionally reach overhead, requiring manipulation of weight of 10 pounds or less, and below waist manipulating weight of 25 pounds or more.
- Sensory Vision – must be able to read clearly with or without corrective lenses.
- Hear - Must be able to hear telephone, audible alarms, bells, and signals related to resident safety with or without hearing devices.
- Speech/Language – must have strong command of English sufficient to read and write and interpret medical and administration information.
