Location: Gulf Coast Skilled Nursing Facility, Plantation Road, Fort Myers, FL 33912
\nDepartment: Nursing - Skilled Nursing Facility (75 Private Rooms)
\nWork Type: Full Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
\nShift: Days, 7:00:00 AM to 3:30:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
\nMinimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour
\nThe Gulf Coast Medical CenterSkilled Nursing Unit is a 75 private-bed, private bath w/showers, unit rehabilitation facility on Plantation Road near Gulf Coast Medical Center.
\nOur Skilled Nursing Unit introduces a new model for rehabilitative care that allows for seamless patient transitions.
\nWealso providethe amenities, services, and comfort that foster fulfilling relationships with patients.
\nEach room is private, and each floor has its own dining area.
\nWhether recovering from joint surgery, a stroke, heart surgery or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) orany other medical condition, our goal is to assist you with rehabilitation and prepare you to return to the community as quickly as possible.
\nSummary
\nResponsible for ensuring all appropriate nursing care and therapy services are delivered to maximize quality care and reimbursement.
\nReviews and coordinates reimbursement for Medicare and Managed Care patients.
\nEnsures accuracy of all MDS, CAAs/HIPPS and care plans for all Medicare and non-Medicare residents.
\nWill ensure timely completion and transmission of all MDS according to state and CMS regulation. Coordinates the updating of care plans as needed to reflect the level of care being delivered to the resident.
\nRequirements
\nEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.(RN)
\nExperience: One (1) - Two (2) years of MDS experience preferred. PPS/HIPPS management experience preferred. Qualified individuals must successfully complete the competency assessment.
\nCertification: RAC-CT preferred.
\nLicense: Current license or eligible for RN licensure in the State of Florida
\nOther: Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
