Location: Macon, Georgia

Start Date: Based on availability

End Date/Duration: Ongoing

Shift: Variable (10-hour days Mon-Thu, 8-hour weekends, 16-hour nights 4 days/week)

Hours/week: 40-48 hours

Employment Type: Full-time

License/Certs: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP); cannot accept FNP or PNP

Experience: 2+ years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (excluding RN experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care within a Level-III NICU setting
• Support high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling procedures
• Collaborate with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide family-centered care and education
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Document clinical activities thoroughly and accurately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to clinical research and teaching activities with Mercer Medical School

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Minimum 2 years of NNP experience (post-licensure)
• Current Georgia licensure or eligibility to practice
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience in high-acuity NICU environments
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory and cooling therapies
• Passion for neonatal advanced practice and family support
