What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care in a tertiary Level-III NICU
• Conduct daily rounds in a 66-bed neonatal unit
• Manage high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling therapies
• Collaborate with a team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and subspecialists
• Participate in clinical teaching and scholarly activities with Mercer Medical School
• Support families and provide family-centered neonatal care
• Maintain documentation and reporting per hospital protocols

What You Need

• Medical license in Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
• Minimum of 1 year of neonatal intensive care experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal stabilization and management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

About the Assignment

The Neonatology team at Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital is dedicated to delivering outstanding care in Georgia’s only dedicated pediatric hospital. This 50,000 sq. ft. facility opened in 2019, housing a Level-III NICU with a highly experienced staff and advanced neonatal therapies. Newborns are cared for by a multidisciplinary team in a family-friendly, trauma-certified environment.
