You’ll work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Clinical Program Manager. This position offers the opportunity to develop diverse clinical skills while making a direct impact on young lives and their families. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews with parents and clients, develop thoughtful case formulations, and synthesize/disseminate significant information to team members Develop and deliver evidence‑based psychological treatment plans for children, teens, young adults, and their families, which may include individual, dyadic, family, parent, and collateral therapy and behavior management Coordinate clinical care with other disciplines including speech‑language pathology, occupational therapy, education, and psychiatry Conduct in‑service training and seminars at CHC or within the community, including continuing education and parent education as requested Attend clinical staff and team meetings as assigned and serve on committees as needed to ensure program and service quality Adhere to all mental health legal and ethical mandates and guidelines in the execution of duties, including timely completion of charting, billing, report preparation, and ethical/confidentiality issues as outlined by the Board of Psychology and American Psychological Association Participate in school observations, IEP conferences, and other school meetings to assist school personnel in understanding client issues and the rationale for implementing recommendations Meet productivity expectations as assigned by the Division Director. Full productivity is expected by the end of the third month of employment Maintain commitment to child safety, mandated reporting duty, and professional boundaries Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Program Manager and Division Director What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications & Experience Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited graduate school Minimum of three (3) years of post‑degree experience in either a pediatric clinic and/or school‑based setting Valid California license to practice psychology (required) Maintenance of valid California license with documentation of continuing education credits submitted to the Board of Psychology Adherence to all professional, ethical, legal, and confidentiality issues outlined by the California Board of Psychology, The American Psychological Association, and State and Federal laws (e.g., HIPAA) Required Knowledge & Skills Knowledge and understanding of CHC’s four areas of expertise: ADHD, Learning Differences, Anxiety & Depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorders Thorough knowledge and skills in evidence‑based child and adolescent therapies, case formulations, and treatment planning Familiarity and comfort with providing therapy via telehealth platforms Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with both clients and colleagues Flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and priorities within the agency Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (essential) Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000 per year (for 1.0 FTE), plus additional bonuses tied to personal billing activity Position Details: This position will start at 0.8 FTE. Compensation listed is representative of a 1.0 FTE (40‑hour work week). Actual compensation willbe adjusted based on FTE type. Pay Type: Salary Benefits Available to 0.75+ FTE Employees Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Accrual of up to 3 weeks of paid vacation per year Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services Free continuing education (CE) classes License renewal fees paid by CHC Professional organization membership dues (1 organization per year) Benefits Available to All FTE Employees Accrual of up to 2 weeks of paid sick leave per year Weekly consultation groups Eligibility for loan forgiveness programs, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness and California state loan repayment programs * The starting base salary for this position is as shown above. The actual base salary is dependent upon a variety of job‑related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
