This position focuses on conducting skills assessments for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), specifically ensuring competency in trach care, g-tube management, and ventilator support. Qualifications and Experience: Current RN license in good standing Certified School Nurse credential or master’s degree in school nursing is required Prior experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings is highly valued Comprehensive clinical knowledge of trach, g-tube, and ventilator care Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to provide training and constructive feedback to support LVN development Responsibilities: Conduct skills assessments for LVNs in critical medical procedures (trach care, g-tube, vent) Provide clear and supportive guidance during hands-on evaluations Review LVN competencies, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols Maintain accurate and organized assessment documentation Collaborate with school leadership and health staff Promote health, safety, and compliance within the school environment This per diem role offers the flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments while making a meaningful contribution to school communities.
