Janitorial Operations Manager Supervisor

Job Description Janitorial / Custodial Supervisor Manager Location: Seattle, Washington Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Semi-Remote / Work From Home with site visits as needed About the Role We are looking for an experienced Janitorial / Custodial Supervisor Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites in the Seattle area. This position is responsible for managing custodial teams, ensuring quality service, supporting client needs, and making sure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. The ideal candidate has strong janitorial experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage employees, schedules, supplies, and client communication with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Manage and support custodial staff and site supervisors. Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure work is completed properly. Train, coach, and guide employees on cleaning procedures, safety, and company standards. Conduct site visits and quality inspections. Handle employee scheduling, attendance, performance, and basic disciplinary matters. Communicate with clients, building managers, and internal leadership. Order and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory. Resolve service issues quickly and professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and custodial best practices. Help with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Track operational needs, expenses, and staffing requirements. Qualifications 5+ years of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Experience managing multiple employees or multiple sites. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety practices. Ability to lead, train, and hold employees accountable. Good communication and customer service skills. Strong organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently from home while visiting sites as needed. Basic computer skills, including email, reports, scheduling, and communication tools. Preferred Skills Bilingual English/Spanish/Filipino preferred. Experience managing 20+ custodial employees.
